I have experience translating materials professionally from a range of industries, including marketing materials for industry-leading electronics companies and for the world’s most popular short-video social media platform; technical translations from the IT & telecoms industry; published journalistic materials; academic texts; and other professional documents.

I am a graduate of the University of Bristol (MA) and of the University of Nottingham (BA Jt. hons), specialising in the language, culture, history and contemporary affairs of Greater China and the French-speaking world.

Over the past 5 years, I have lived and studied in Paris, Ningbo, and Taipei; and I’m now based in Bristol in the south-west of England.

I’m also passionate about music – I enjoy singing, playing guitar, and I have been playing the flute and saxophone since I was very young. I have performed all over Europe solo, in small groups, and in full orchestras!
